Our Vision
TB-free India
YOUNITE India (Youth United for Impact in TB Elimination – India) is a national youth-led network dedicated to advancing meaningful youth engagement in the fight against tuberculosis (TB). As the India chapter of YOUNITE Global, YOUNITE India empowers young people to contribute to TB advocacy, policy engagement, research, community mobilisation, and capacity strengthening. The network brings together young advocates, TB survivors, community leaders, and partner organisations to amplify youth voices and promote people-centred, community-led approaches to TB prevention, care, and support. Through strategic partnerships and evidence-based advocacy, YOUNITE India works to strengthen youth leadership and accelerate progress toward India's goal of ending TB

Aman Shukla
A 26-year-old dynamic youth advocate from Delhi with over 5 years of experience in LGBTQ+ advocacy. Specializing in HIV and TB care, support, and treatment, Aman is committed to community empowerment. He is the founder of YOUNITE Global, a youth-led platform focused on TB elimination. Passionate about youth leadership and inclusive education, Aman works tirelessly to advance equity for marginalised communities

Nitesh Yadav
A 24-year-old community advocate and educator from Mumbai, Nitesh is a two-time TB survivor dedicated to inspiring young people to join the fight against tuberculosis. His vision for a TB-free future drives his advocacy efforts and teaching initiatives.
We are a collective of visionary leaders dedicated to building a TB-free India through youth empowerment and community action.
Dhruv Salunke
A 19-year-old medical student from Mumbai, Dhruv is a lifelong diabetic currently pursuing his M.B.B.S. degree. He is deeply committed to community health and actively engages with TB-affected key and vulnerable populations, aiming to bridge gaps in healthcare delivery
Diksha Walia
Diksha Walia is a public health professional and a strong advocate for youth engagement and community-led action. Her expertise lies in research, tobacco control interventions, and partnership development. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Public Health and she's based in Punjab.
Ms. Shivani Bhargava
Ms. Shivani Bhargava is a 28-year-old corporate professional and an XDR-TB survivor who has transformed her lived experience into a strong commitment to advocacy, awareness, and community impact. While her professional career is rooted in the corporate sector, Shivani brings proven leadership, facilitation, and communication skills, enabling her to lead discussions, conduct workshops, and engage with survivors in meaningful and impactful ways
